In October 2011, SOLVO - a leader in the Russian market of warehouse control systems – launched Salesforce CRM. This release follows the company’s expansion of its sales management team and aims to strengthen marketing activity in order to boost sales. Meanwhile, SOLVO’s inclusion of the powerful and flexible CRM system within the software’s pre-project study and customer collaboration
phases is driven by a commitment to excellent service.
SOLVO CEO Elena A. Grebenshikova asserts that the company’s historic dedication to the production of high-quality products, services, and internal business processes motivated its selection of the CRM system. She explains, “of course, directing a group of highly-qualified analysts and developers with experience in business processes automation, we could have written the CRM system ourselves, for our personal needs. However, we are professionals in the field of warehouse and container terminals control systems. Through our own experience, we understand that the completion
of the automation process within the strict parameters of the project methodology can significantly improve the technology of the work and bring desired results. This is precisely why we chose CRM as our best option with the reliable company eVelopers as our partner”.
Salesforce CRM is based on the SaaS model, which facilitates an accelerated system launch. Just a month and a half since the start of the project, the system now operates 24/7 and supports marketing and sales specialists online in all of SOLVO’s offices. Furthermore, the system allows users to access documents and records while they are on business trips, visiting customers, or at exhibitions. During implementation of the CRM system within SaaS technology, it was possible to cut organizational, temporal, and monetary expenses that could occur in the planning and maintenance of additional IT infrastructure.
The project launch has consisted of two phases: “quick start” and “setting up rules and reports”. Within the current fine-tuning process, which should be completed by December 1st, 2011, employees are using the system while technicians configure it within the second phase of the project. User requests are collected through the system itself through the special Salesforce ”Ideas“ feature.
